Louise is a qualified and experienced instrumental teacher of piano, harp, singing and music theory, and music educator.
"Hello, and welcome to Newark Music School. I teach harp, piano, singing and theory from beginner to advanced. I'm a professional musician working as a composer and performer, and have many years experience teaching music in a variety of educational settings, as well as privately. I hold a Master's Degree in Music as well as ATCL and LVCM teaching diplomas. I'm also a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians. I encourage students to enter for ABRSM exams, although this isn't compulsory, and I am mostly concerned with teaching the fundamentals of music with a solid technique and foundation as well as developing a lifelong love of music. Lessons are available online or in person at my home studio which is close to the centre of Newark. There is free street parking available outside.
